Anchor/Reporter

I'm an anchor and reporter with six years of newsroom experience. I have a passion for storytelling and journalism. When members of the House of Representatives presented the articles of impeachment to the Senate, I was on the desk to present this moment in history with our viewers. As news developed of a deadly explosion in Durham, I dug to find information to deliver to our viewers as it was developing from the studio.

When Hurricane Florence hit the coast of North Carolina, I was there giving our viewers a look at the damage and telling the stories from people picking up the pieces, while living without power. Moments after the news broke of shootings that left the community shattered in Charleston, and again on the campus of UNC Charlotte, I was there, talking with survivors and family members who trusted me to share their stories.

On set I've had the privilege of doing a scope of interviews, ranging from award winning authors to local experts on health and fitness. I've told the stories of people who are making a difference, whether that's at a camp for children surviving domestic violence or a women's recovery center in a rural community. Each story I tell is an honor, and a job I take pride in.
